She is intelligent but has a hilarious inner dialogue. I was smitten with Kaitlyn Parker from the first chapter and had a full girl crush by the ending. Reid has solidified herself as an automatic 1-click for me. I am not a huge fan of serials but after reading the synopsis, I knew this was going to be “elemental.” This book definitely does not disappoint, and Ms. I was thrilled when she launched a new serial that was somewhat different from my previous reads by her. She is brilliant but witty and quite honestly, like no other other author I have read. Since that time, I’ve devoured nearly all her books. I tried Neanderthal Meets Human after her hilarious banter with readers in a book group and was instantly addicted. Late last year, I fell in love with Penny Reid.
